27/5/2010 Eng Mohammed Naji al-Otari ,Prime Minister opened Yesterday Morning , the conference of investment in southern region entitled: discover opportunities and investments ,hosted by the Syrian Investment Commission with the participation of 700 investors, including 200 expatriates ,Arabs and foreigners in the touristic hotel Suweida. Safwan Arafeh – chairman of Arafeh Holding said: "The southern region is a promising land and a good investment. Prior to the conference We visited the region and explored investment opportunities that are available, since it's a rich area with natural resources and good infrastructure, and we at the group are working through two units, which are the engineering business unit for real estate and property development that focuses on more than one project in sweida as wall as intelligent parking division, cars, production lines and the other unit is the pharmacy medical business unit which includes generics medicine , medical supplies & raw materials .
